Highlights of the Week:
This past weekend , Layla got a surprise visit from her sister in law Danielle and her friend Sabrina. They flew from Los Angeles to spend the weekend with her. They mostly hung out at home but managed to go out on Saturday to the movies. They watched "Instant Family" . Thank you ladies!! That is a very long flight for just a weekend. Layla enjoyed having her friends with her!

We also received a cool hand made Olaf pillowcase and a nice card from Linda Hunt! It is very touching to see the personal touch and special care from our friends and their families. Your support has been very uplifting!

On Monday, we got a very special visit from the Boubess family from Lebanon. Layla's aunt Lina and family stopped in Miami on the way to their family vacation in Cuba. Layla has not seen them (with the exception of Yasmina who lives in Los Angeles) since Summer 2017.

On Friday, Crossfit Belmont Heights held a fundraiser for Team Layla drawing raffle tickets yielding some very cool prizes. They had sold Team Layla T-shirts with all proceeds going to Layla's treatment. The Crossfit fundraiser netted $3932 that was donated to Dr. Rosenberg charity in the name of Layla.
For future plumfund donations that you would like to count toward tax deductions, please text me or email me, I can provide you with the information.

Tumor Marker Update
The tumor markers are on the decline. As we have less cancer cells to deal with, the drop rate is less than before. The good news is that they are still on the decline validating treatment progress. We will follow up with scanning once we have reached our goal.
